Updated 6 November 2026. Reef HQ is closed for redevelopment. The project is now presented as the Great Barrier Reef Aquarium. Check the official aquarium website for reopening updates. This 2017 video is a historical visit, not an attraction currently available to book.

While we wait before taking off on our next adventure we decided to share something we do quite often with our kids in our hometown.  In this video we take the kids to Reef HQ and The Museum of Tropical Queensland in Townsville.
