Hey there, I’m David. Some people call me Dad. I grew up in Townsville, Australia.

I met Elisa while working in Telecommunications and proposed to her during our first holiday in Fiji. It took us another four years to get married.

There was a time in my life when I wanted to be a professional basketballer, and was once a development player for the the Townsville Crocodiles in Australia’s National Basketball League. Basketball gave me an opportunity to see a bit of the world. Mostly around Queensland, Australia, but I also toured South Korea with the Crocodiles and played college basketball in the USA.

These days I’m a school teacher and have been for a bit over 10 years. I’m now teaching at a wonderful school in Qatar as a Year 3 teacher.

I definitely prefer to be behind the camera capturing our adventures. I also love editing our YouTube videos and posting to our Instagram and Facebook pages.

When in a new country I love meeting locals, taking photos and exploring as much as possible in the time we have.
